Merry Monday to you all! Here’s Andrew with season 2 from Germany…

We’re back for season two. We’ve been seeded in the Champions League and the board have made a delightful investment with all of our hard-fought war chest. At £733 a seat it better be worth it.

Marco Villa is our best young signing of the summer as we bring in some new recruits.

He will push for Troche’s starting berth alongside Brown. We’ll open the season as we closed the last one, against the frauds.

It does not go well. Brown gets an opener but then we are torn apart by the king of 9’s and 10’s, Carsten Jancker.

He scores again in the final, carrying the frauds to victory. What is happening!?!

We move Zeyer on, and the season opener arrives. It couldn’t have been a lot worse.

Our main man will miss about a third of the season with injury. Not quite Keegan’s 8 match ban for punching a player but a similar length out the side no doubt. Nehrbauer also take a month out the side. It’s another game against Bayern, with the same outcome:

Every time we score, they hit straight back. Not quite £12m, but we offload the unwanted Kmetsch.

The team find the strength to come back from a string of poor performances.

Early doors, but it looks like Dortmund’s attacking line up of Bobic, Klinsmann, Dundee and Chapuisat is going to take some beating.

The Pokal gives us light relief against non-existent opposition.

It will be 2. Bundesliga opposition in the next round with Kuntz and Co. of Bielefeld blocking our path. Berlin are off key and we collect the points but we should have scored more.

The Champions League draw is kind and we’re hopeful of making the knockout stages.

Bayern, like Dortmund, throw money at the issue that we refuse to compete with.

Despite this we continue to dominate the U21 squad.

We scrape another result, but having had 25 shots and 9 on target, I’m worried we just don’t have enough to defend the title we somehow won.

Bayern make a cheeky offer that is easy to refuse, but now Gravesen wan’t to leave. B******. Another striker down. Happy days…

Another game against Leverkusen, another opportunity to play against 10-men.

Frings is a massive player. Shame about the penalty miss. This is brutal, our captain out for months now too.

We open our Champions League campaign in some style as Spizak has a goal disallowed and gets sent off all in the 4^th minute.

Apparently, it was against the odds.

We manage to fall out the Pokal at lower league opposition again as Steffan and his band of Kuntz somehow get the better of us again.

Enter the Hamburg derby. What a mess. Dammann rounds up the scoring for St. Pauli.

I’m at a loss as to how a team flying last season can go on such a downer with players that improve the squad. I’ll put it down to missing David Brown. The table is woeful.

Dortmund look unstoppable. In Keegan’s three years there was only one Bundesliga and no other trophies, so I’ve accomplished something already, but we want more. So Brown is off the mark but that’s it.

In his absence, big Frings are predicted to happen for someone.
