So we are back for the final conclusion to this outstanding season. At points, it looked probable that we would get promoted without winning the league, which meant managing Brescia for a 3rd season, and possibly more in Serie A. However, things took a turn as Cagliari have lost their amazing form, and have lost a few in a row. The gap is now 4 points, with 9 games remaining. My only wish is that the transfer window was open a lot longer than it has been! Playing with only 1 EU CB was hard work, as I have had to waste a Non EU slot on that position. Our first game is at home to Salernitana, who are flying high in 6th. We just have to match Cagliari or better

Ok, 1 point, But how did Cagliari get on?
What the hell is happening at the Sant’Elia! They have really fallen from grace. The gap is down to 3 points! Goal difference is currently on our side by 2 goals, but anything can happen!
Bad news for Arsenal however as Nicolas Anelka will be out for 4 months
A quick look around the other leagues however, and Man Utd are clear at the top of the Premier League, as they usually are! Arsenal sitting pretty in 2nd but they can’t match the unbeaten Man Utd.
In La Liga, it is the same 2 again. Real Madrid and Barcelona. BOOORRRRINNGGG
Up next is an away game to Fidelis Andria. I am very confident about this match, I really can’t see us dropping any points here. My confidence is well put!
CAGLIARI LOSE! WE ARE TOP! We just have to make sure we stay there. I have no idea how Cagliari have gotten so bad. They have now lost 5 games in a row! They are playing a 4-4-2 Defensive, it just doesn’t make sense to me
Their top wing back has got a broken leg however, and he is one of their star players. Along with Igor Piovani who is out with a hip injury and Giacomo Banchelli with a damaged foot. Could this be a reason? I don’t really care. As long as we are TOP
Cesena are up next, and I really hope to make the Mario Rigamonti a fortress. Our performances have been so inconsistent to a point that I have no idea how we are going to play! So we stick to our guns and see what happens.
Stoichkov pulls it out of the bag for us, a great result considering how Mick Davenport let us down. Good news again however;
Cagliari only managed a draw against Fidelis Andria. We are now 2 points clear, and what looked impossible is now probably and I am ecstatic. This means I’ll be able to find that new club! 6 games left to try and extend my lead. Verona away, which will be a very tough game!
Forgot to change out Mick Davenport. A player with nice stats who is utterly crap. Only 20 years old but he will be moving on, 100%
Bad news however as Cagliari win away to Cesena, and it is back to goal difference! With that, Bari. Torino and Salernitana are starting to creep into the mix.
5 games left, top by goal difference, but only 4 points clear of Bari & Torino. These last 5 games will be 5 cup finals. This is probably going to go to the last match!
Frustratingly, not a lot is happening around the world in regards to managerial changes and transfers since January. Here are the top reputations however. I’m still sitting in 25th following my success at Arsenal, and hopefully that will improve too.
So some strange ones here. Roy Evans is the best manager in the world, currently residing in Spain. Radomir Antic is climbing with Atletico Madrid and Butragueno is also making strides with Liverpool
Back to Italy, and unsurprisingly, Juventus come away with the Coppa Italia
So, back to Brescia and we have a hard game at home to Reggina. Cagliari take on Verona and they should win that comfortably.
Why are we choking now? Why are goalkeepers getting MOM against me? The last 4 games the opposition goalkeeper has had a 9 rating. It’s really frustrating! However Cagliari only manage a 0-0 draw, whilst Bari win, Torino draw and Salernitana lose.
Getting tighter and tighter with 4 games left.
Back to Europe, and quite a surprise as Dinamo Kiev make the final. However, they fall to Deportivo La Coruna in a match played at the Stadio Via del Mare in Lecce
So. 4 games left and some tough challenges to come. We are away at 15th placed Empoli, Cafliari are away at 9th place Reggina. Bary are away at 6th placed Perugia and 4th Torino play 5th Salernitana. I really need a win here to solidy my place at the top of the league.
Thank the lord for Mark bloody Bosnich! We squeeze out the win against Empoli, The results came out as follows;
Good for both us, Cagliari and Salernitana, bad for Torino and Bari. Again, we visit Europe and look who make the Cup Winners Cup Final. The splendid Arsenal. In a final that could easily be the Champions League final, Arsenal overcome Juventus. Man of the match being the hero that is Kenny Sivertsen who is now valued at £5.25mil. What a player I found for just £200k!
Man Utd go ham in the FA Cup final with an easy 4-0 victory over Tottenham
Back to Serie B though, and with 3 games left it can still go anywhere! We are at home to 13th Reggiana, whilst Cagliari are at home to 17th Empoli.#
We only manage a 2-2 draw, but Cagliari only manage the same. Salernitana take 3rd place after beating Cosenza and Bari drop to 4th, after falling to Modena. Back to Europe for the Champions League final
WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!
Inter Milan smash Man Utd 7-1. What you can see above however is David Beckham was in goal for Man Utd and still managed to get the highest rating in their team. Richard Wright was suspended and both Anthony Betterton and Jose Francisco Molina were both cup tied. Shame for England, great for Italy.
Penultimate game of the season see’s me travel to Perugia in 6th place. Another tough fixture. Quite comfortably however, we come away with a 2-0 victory.
But, it is now down to how Cagliari do. Bari are back into 3rd as Salernitana lose. However…
So do Cagliari! So unless I lose the next game by 8 goals, the title is mine! Get in there. I will however wait to resign until game processing has finished.
Hang on, they have already given me prize money for 1st? Was that the last game? Did I get something wrong?
Interestingly, there is still 1 game left? What would happen if I lost by 10 goals and Cagliari smashed it? Bit of a strange one.
Another strange managerial move however, as Carlo Ancelotti leaves Reggiana to take over at newly promoted Ternana. He loves a challenge does Carlo, to join a squad with 5 players.
Last game is against Modena and it doesn’t really matter. We do however come out with a win to prove to the world, that we deserved this. Bad news for Bari however as they miss out by 1 point when at one time, they were pretty in 3rd
We receive another massive bonus for winning the league, it just doesn’t make sense…
And that brings this update to a close! I wonder where we will end up next? Who knows, but I am really looking forward to it! Drop your guesses to me on twitter about who you think I may end up at. @Liavinco. Adios guys!

I think in Italy it’s on head to head, not goal difference, so if you’re three points ahead and got the better of them over two games, you win.
