Basque Boys Deux – Part 4: In a different Ligue | @NTR9798

Bonjour! and welcome back to Bayonne. Last week we won promotion at the first attempt, but can we strengthen the squad over the summer to make it capable of surviving first season relegation from Ligue 1?

First business is cup draws, and it’s non-league Gueugnon in the Coupe de France…

And because we’re now a top flight team, we can play in the League Cup…

Portuguese Men o’ Wolves – Part 40: The final (wolf) whistle | @NTR9798

Bom Dia! and welcome to the final episode with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who are struggling in the league, but can still win the League Cup and Champions League for a second time. Will they end this story in style? For the last time, here’s Nick…

You wouldn’t believe we started the season brilliantly and were 2nd after 12 games, but things have gone horribly wrong since. Let’s see if we can finish in a respectable position…

Portuguese Men o’ Wolves – Part 39: Thrown to the Lyons | @NTR9798

Bom Dia! and welcome to the penultimate episode with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who are doing well in pretty much every competition apart from the league. They’ve already secured the World Club Cup, but can they now add the European Super Cup to the cabinet? Here’s Nick

This is how the table is looking. We were 2nd not so long ago, but after just two wins from our last eight games, we’ve slid all the way down to 7th. The optimist in me says that it’s only the halfway point, so let’s hope better things lie ahead for us this week. Let’s go…

Portuguese Men o’ Wolves – Part 37: The beginning of the end | @NTR9798

Bom Dia! and welcome to season eleven with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who are now champions of Europe! This season will bring them the opportunity to win the remaining three trophies on the list, but first, Nick has some bad news for us…

After much deliberation, I’ve decided that this will be the last season of this adventure. After finally winning the league and then the Champions League, it feels like the right time to call it a day, plus the inconsistent league form of this team is really driving me nuts!

Portuguese Men o’ Wolves – Part 36: Would Eu believe it | @NTR9798

Bom Dia! and welcome to the end of the tenth season with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who have reached the League Cup final, but first there’s still a Champions League quarter-final to be won. Can they dig deep to get the job done? Over to Nick…

We’re 6th in the league, and as usual, scoring hasn’t been a problem, but conceding very much has. But considering we were 11th, and have games in-hand on most teams above us, it could turn out to be a reasonable season yet.
