CM Cup Euro 2097 – Day 6: Lightning never strikes twice

Good day to you! It’s unlike us to be here on a Saturday but needs must, tournaments don’t sleep. Except for those few days between the group stages and the knockouts when it is essential. Anyway, today we’ll see Denmark and Belgium battle for superiority in Group B before we slide on over to Group C where the Dutch will be looking to get their tournament started following defeat in their first match.

CM Cup Euro 2097 – Day 3: England meet Croatia again and Ireland get their campaign underway

Welcome to day three of the 2020 CM Cup. Our Eurl 2097 theme has seen us arrive in Group D, where England will get their campaign underway to a feverish backdrop no doubt. Later on, we’ll have Ireland vs Poland from Group E to complete a wonderful day for local TV broadcasters.

CM Cup Euro 2097 – Day 2: Can Holland lay down a marker?

Greetings and welcome to Day two of the 2020 CM Cup. Things got off to an entertaining start yesterday as Group A served up ten goals in two games before Group B got underway with five of their own. We’ll see the second game in Group B shortly before moving on to Group C, where we’ll find out if Holland have what it takes to match their 1988 heroics.

CM Cup Euro 2097 – Day 1: Let the games begin!

Welcome to Euro 20/97! Today begins a series of blogs where 24 hopeful managers will enter and only one will emerge as the 2020 CM Cup champion. We’ll see defending champion Ross Bell’s Belgium in action later on in Group B but we start with Group A, where Turkey and Italy will lift the metaphorical curtain.

Euro 20/97 & summer plans

Hello! It’s that time of year again where we need to crown a winner. The 2020 CM Cup is here and we’ve expanded the field to 24 hopeful managers.

This has been in the works long before social distancing was even in our vocabulary and despite some obvious schedule changes, we’re going ahead as planned. I always run this at the end of the real life season and if it’s a tournament year, it always ends the day before the tournament starts. Whilst the length of the tournament is the same, the timescale is not.

Anyway, unlike Euro 2020 we haven’t fallen foul of a global pandemic (as of this writing, at least) so let me tell you all about the plan…
