If you’d offered me a point away at Highbury before the season started, I’d have bitten your hand off, but somehow Arsenal are struggling down in 17th place, which takes the gloss off the result somewhat. The point keeps us in 8th place at the halfway point…

We begin the second half of the season with sweet revenge over Blackburn, as Pauleta finds the net twice to return to the score sheet for the first time in eight games…

We host Wednesday on a Saturday, and while they may have dumped us out of the League Cup last time we met, today is our day, as Manarte and Pinto avenge that cup defeat…

Our last stop for this week is a short FA Cup trip to Villa Park, where Bozza gets sent off after three minutes, and the game is done and dusted before half time, as Pauleta and Delfim do the damage to see us safely through…

Where we’re rewarded with an opportunity to chop down the Forest once again…

I’ll admit I was happy with 8th place at the start of this episode, and after losing our first two matches, I thought we might have been on the slide, but we’ve gone about our business quietly, and with a little help from other results going our way, we’re now up to 4th!

So, with 15 games of our maiden Premiership season remaining, we find ourselves ahead of schedule and, dare I say it, in with a realistic shot of securing European football! But we all know how quickly things can change in this game, so I’m not counting any chickens just yet, I’ve enough Wolves to worry about!
