Hello and welcome back. As promised, I am back. The year is 2022, and only a few months have passed since my last blog post……. well, it seems it’s been almost 3 full years since we left the Blog squad. They had just finished a pretty successful first EPL season. They finished 3rd overall and qualified for our first every European adventure.

Let’s get right back into it, shall we? Having finished strongly, we start the season looking to improve both the squad and the finishing position. We make hard work of Forest but overcome them in the end, thanks to TBS OG Zak.

We continue our good start to the season with a more comfortable 2-0 victory over Derby. Nevland and Goldbaek scored the goals. Unfortunately, we lost Andrew “The Rock” Chapman to an early injury.

The less said about our follow up home game the better, Lets move on.

And I thought the last game was rubbish. Jesus, we got torn apart. It was by one of the oddest assembled squads you will ever have seen in the game.

Finally back to winning ways. It wasn’t pretty but at this early stage of the season a win is a win! Dave notches his first of the season. After that, I can only assume a Birmingham player scores a winner in the wrong net. Cheers.

I’ve no idea what happened here and I’m starting to get a little worried this be a troublesome season.

We begin our first ever European adventure at the Arena taking on Elbasani. They aren’t very good. We batter them. Hopefully we can translate that form to the league.

The dream that we be good for two games in a row is very quickly dashed. Once again, we lose to our arch rivals Coventry. They just have a hold over us I’m not yet capable to break

Anyway we will round up this weeks update with a comprehensive 11-0 aggregate victory over our friends from Elbasani.

It feels good to be back and I’m looking forward to seeing how far this squad can take us. until next time.
