Can Northern Ireland get to the 1998 World Cup?

Good morning! I’ve got a confession to make. We don’t have a Tuesday writer at the moment. We’ve had a series of guests doing great things, I did a tactics blog with Nikolai but as Liam continues to take a well earned break from the A-Z game, I’ve had to dig deep to do something different. Inspired by the Lockdown challenge, I’ve decided to take the challenge of trying to take Northern Ireland to the World Cup from this position:

Impossible? We’ll see.

Talking Tactics – Nikolai’s MW: A bigger test

Hello! We’re back with the second part of our latest Talking Tactics series. Tactics guru Nikolai put forward the MW and it worked out quite well for Liverpool, which you can re-live here. I know what you’re thinking though – Liverpool are good anyway, is it really that good? After consultation with Nikolai, I took over at Blackburn to find out

The Regen Finder – Download

Hello! For those of you who follow my Twitter ramblings, you’ll know a good friend of mine built a program to help find regens. I’ve had a go with it and it’s really quite good though it has some shortcomings. CM Hints’ Lockdown Musings

Seeing as we’re about to end the season as we know it and move to our summer schedule, your friend and mine CM_Hints is here to draw a line under the past 3 months. Like most of us, he’s spent it playing Championship Manager but he’s played more versions than most…

Over the past few months, I’ve had the good fortune to play my fair share of football management games from Championship Manager 2 right up to Football Manager 2020. I’ve had the chance to reconnect with past nostalgia as well as reassess and revalidate some of my views. Here are some of my musings:

Simple CM97/98 Android Installation | @TahirTheRam86 & @CM_Hints

The demand to play CM9798 has rarely been higher and my Twitter mentions have been bursting with people wanting to play CM9798 on their Android device. I know what you’re thinking – you have an iPhone. An iPad. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do that yet but one day…

Anyway, you’re probably also thinking you’ve known how to do this for years. You’d be right, Adam did a lovely video and everything which you can see here. However, apparently this is an easier way. I don’t have an Android phone, so I can’t comment. But the people have been heard and so I’ll hand over to our 2018 CM Cup Champion Ash (@CM_Hints) to take you through it.
