Hello! Another Sunday, another update. We’re passing from 1998 to 1999 and seemingly everybody has gone transfer mad. There are more deals in this update than Jim White’s phone on deadline day. Managers and players are moving from far and wide but will it work? And why do Arsenal need to sign my promising full back? All will be revealed.

We lead. I was excited. We lost. It’s a shame. But an enjoyable run where I somehow managed to draw Division 2 and 3 teams all the way until the Quarters.

Basically when we are good, we are very good, it mostly boils down to getting our best players on the pitch together which has been difficult. This was good:

Back in the big leagues, and our first cup final of the season will be a Yorkshire derby between Barnsley Tykes and the Sheffield Owls. Two very one sided semi finals.

In the league, the clubs have taken it on themselves to BUY EVERYBODY. Oh and a few have been sold too

He’s going to win the league! The Dell Boys, with Arrigo Sacchi calling the shots, have a 7 point cushion. They must? Elsewhere the Cobras have struggled defensively despite still scoring plenty, but they have 37 year old Andreas Kopke in goal since selling Landreau and David James. At the bottom, the non-franchises are all in trouble. Good.

We’ll finish with some bad news. My stand up comedian…can’t stand up
