Happy Tuesday folks. Welcome back to Rome. The last 2 seasons have been relegation scraps. We need to have season were we steady the ship as a bare minimum. Let’s dive in.

August/September

Another shite start to the season. 4 losses in a row including getting knocked out of the Coppa Italia. I try a new formation and it works for a couple of games then Cagliari beat us as well.

Easily our best performance so far. Totti with 2 in the second half to seal the win.

October

3 wins and a loss in October but to be honest none of them have been comfortable. You may think losing 4-1 to Salernitana is a terrible result but they won the league last season.

An outrageous game to start the month! Every time Perugia went level we went back in front within 10 mins. The real positive this season is Totti is back amongst the goals. He’s carrying us this season.

November

Another 2 wins and 2 losses. It just shows how unpredictable we are at the moment. No consistency whatsoever. We lost against Lazio in the 90th minute after giving away a penalty.

A game we dominated which we can’t say much these days. Soma and Kiko Jr stepping up with Totti injured. He’s only out for the next game thank god.

December

2 games in December and we lose them both. Brilliant!

January

Just the 1 win in 5 in January. We are slipping closer and closer to the relegation places again.

Another ridiculous game here. Inter go 2-0 up with goals in the 20th and 23rd minutes. Palomino then scores 2 in the 24th and 26th minutes to make it 2-2. New boy Ignoffo makes it 3-2 in the 39th minute for the win!

February

Only 1 loss in February. We concede another 90th minute goal to draw with Salernitana which is so frustrating! We threw everything at Perugia but couldn’t find a goal.

Our two new boys get the business done against Cagliari in one of our best games of the season.

March

Only 1 loss in March as well. We get a right hammering off AC Milan.

A debut to remember for Spanish U21 Juan Manual Feli. 2 goals and an assist get him MOTM.

April/May

It’s an abysmal end to another abysmal season. Beating Parma was a decent result as they finish 3rd.

We manage to scrape enough points together to stay up. What a fall for Salernitana this season. Juventus finally claim their crown back again.

Totti is 33 now so there won’t be too many seasons left. Mind you if we carry on playing terrible I’ll get the boot before he retires! Join me next week for a World Cup special. Surely we can’t win 3 in a row can we?
