Let’s take a moment to have a look at the startling progress made in this save already. Yeah, it’s been non-stop, wall to wall improvements.

The real Sir Alex picks up the October Manager of the Month award as his boys top the table, he’s also accepted a bid for OGS. But he tells us where to go. AGAIN.
Leeds are in the relegation zone. This is dropped points.
Scholes starts up front instead of Izzy Rankin and does the business. A win marks 5 years in the job. No statues being commissioned just yet though.
A good 45, followed by a poor one. Notman’s sending off proved critical.
You win one, you lose one, you draw one. Rinse and Repeat.
The board expect higher than 12th.
A struggle against a Division One side, this one seemed destined for penalties the whole time. Nicky Spink saves two in the shootout and we progress.
Newcastle are 2nd in the table so this is a very good result – we’ll draw the next and then lose but that’s not todays problem. Izzy comes off the bench for the winner. Scholes continues in fine form.
That’s the defeat. Palace had minimal chances but took them.
Liverpool are bottom of the table and looking a dead cert for Division One football next season. We ensure that they don’t enjoy their Turkey. Osorio see’s red for two bookings in ten minutes but we don’t suffer because of it.
Alan Thompson was about to be replaced before he tapped home. Quite glad I micro-paused there.
We say goodbye to 2002 at Old Trafford. 4 points clear at the top of the table. They are. We are 10th. Man United offered nothing for 74 minutes. Then they were clinical.
20 minutes into our FA Cup campaign and it’s already over. Plenty of huff and puff as always but that “difference” just isn’t there this year.
In the space of 4 days our cup campaigns are done. Middlesbrough score early and then just keep us at arms length.
We have Nicky Spink to thank for this one. He picks up the bottle of champagne and then Izzy takes a chance.
Carlisle are not the side we mullered early season, they’ve got some backbone about them, despite still being in danger. We got the job done but it wasn’t pretty.
The last game of the update and we make it a web address. WWW.
And another clean sheet. Tucka will be pleased.
Sitting in 8th – the consistency will need to continue if we are to make the top of the table. The title is going to Old Trafford but we are only 7 points off 2nd.
