Hello and welcome back to 30 for 30. We are nearly there with this challenge which has been epic and draining all in one. Last season was a real come down. We went from all conquering to losing it all. This season is about redemption.

August

We have a great start domestically winning all our games and progressing in the League Cup. In Europe we lose in the qualifiers so we drop into the UEFA Cup. Borussia MGB are former European Champions with a good team. Still no excuse though.

September

It’s another great month except for the huge blot of losing badly to Celtic. They wiped the floor with us in that game. We are in the Semi Final of the League Cup and have a good lead in the UEFA Cup to take to Deportivo.

October

Well October is a shit show. We get pasted by Deportivo in Spain. Hearts knock us out of the League Cup in the semi final. We lose against Raith again! Just the league to go for now until the FA Cup starts.

November

Much better this month 4 wins from 4 and a massive win against Celtic. We close the gap to just 1 point with that win.

December

Another great month. We still struggle against bloody Partick Thistle! they are a nightmare. We have got ourselves to the top of the table and we hope to keep it that way!

January

5 wins out of 5 to start the new year. We breeze through to the 4th round of the cup and we extend our lead at the top to 6 points.

February

We lose against Partick Thistle. I haven’t got a bloody clue why we can’t beat them but we really can’t. Progression to the Quarter Final of the FA Cup and a win over Celtic keep us in the hunt for the double.

March

Another great month as we breeze into the Cup Semi Finals. The loss to Berwick at the end of the month is an annoying end to the month with 2 big games on the horizon.

April/May

Well the last two months are an absolute shit show. We don’t win a game which hands the title to Celtic on a plate. We then blow a 2 goal lead in the FA Cup final which forces a replay which we lose thanks to a late penalty.

Shocking end to the season as we end potless again! Much improvement needed next season. Join me next time to see if we can get back on top.
