Partick Thistle have joined Division 3 of the English League. This gives us 2 cracks at the Windscreen.

Incidentally, Exeter City have been sent North to make way for us. 

Exeter has an airport and a university. I’m sure they can figure out how to get to away games. 

Thistle have a young, talented squad. Some familiar names here. 

Loads of teenagers though. Youngsters need game time. Couple of friendlies to get warmed up.

My brother lives near Buckie. Eventful game. Played the last 30 mins with 10 men and no keeper. 

Elgin are the next whopping boys. 

Our first game in Division 3 did not go to plan.

Dickov (24) and Wallace (27) are old stawards in this team. And they turn up at the Den.

League Cup second round. Great away win at Premier League Coventry. Didn’t see that coming.

Struggling in the league though. Only a draw against Doncaster.

It’s Desmond again against Barnet.

13th in the league after 11 games. Not great at all.

It makes no sense as we’re doing great against better opposition.

Into Round 3.

Rod Wallace is back. Although he doesn’t score. The whole team plays better. 

That’s more like it.

Shrewsbury’s chairman said if our striker ever comes back to Gay Meadow he will chop his Dickov.
