Hello and good morning Champ Managers, we received the crunch end of our first season of the Elland Road African revolution and whilst part 2 steadied the ship, we’re out of the cups and playing for pride and hoping we stay clear of the drop zone….

Lets start things off with a respectable draw at home to Arsenal, shall we?

Four days later, and we do even better against Liverpool, where my players commit a rare act of defensive solidity

A home draw against West Ham would normally be cause for sadness, but these days I’m all for staying unbeaten. Big Tony rescuing us from a Big John winner.

With the Transfer Window closing, and my remit to only sign African players, I bring two wildcard signings in via the fax machine on deadline day. Innocent to add some steel in midfield and Frank because, well I’m intrigued for the terrace chants to be brutally honest.

I wasn’t expecting much change out of Season 1 United to be honest, but at 1-0 with 10 minutes to go I fancied our chances of sneaking an equaliser until Roy Keane popped up with a late double. Lets move on…

Tony and Seb can be a deadly duo when they put their minds to it – two of my better performers this season without a doubt.

Barnsley are brushed aside and we show a rare defensive discipline that has been lacking all season. I’m still not convinced by Rufai in goal though. The fact we had to play our second game in 3 days necessitated some changes and bac up boys Masing and Milla took the limelight.

I hate Leicester and I hate Kasey Keller. He’s a stupid moron with an ugly face and he has a big butt, and his butt smells and he likes to kiss his own butt.

I don’t really have an explanation for this result. 2-1 at half time was ok, but we collapsed like a prolapsed anus in the second half with Rufai’s red card. Shambles.

For the second week on a row, Rufai gets sent off in the 49th minute – must be some bizarre betting ring going on, except he’s no from Zimbabwe…

Bakayoko salvages a point – he’s been a little quiet this season after his big money move…

That win against Everton lifts us just about into the top half of the table on the final games day

We conceded an average of two goals a game. If it wasn’t for Yeboah and Barnes we surely would have been in trouble. Fair play to Liverpool, they ran United pretty close for the title.

An up and down season – started brilliantly, descended into chaos, and ended in mediocrity.

End of season time and wrapping things up, no awards for my African boys

Roger’s creaking, swaying hips have seen enough

And Thomo has had enough of being benched for crisp packet hands Rufai

I get my hans on Roger’s regen

So that’s it for Season One – mid table for Leeds and World Cup disappointment for Nigeria.

Season 2 will surely need to be an improvement to keep even the most die-hard followers interested. See you next week!
