Hello and welcome back to Doncaster. Last season was a real surprise as, not only did we survive our first season in the Premier League, we only just missed out on a top half finish. Whilst the goals didn’t flow as well as I’d have liked it was our leaky defence that proved our undoing. Can we make a push for the top half or was it a one off? Let’s get stuck in

August

Absolutely battered in August. If this is how it’s going to be for the rest of the season we will be relegated by Christmas!

September

It’s depressing viewing. We get a win against City but we are getting badly beaten week in week out. Division 1 Chelsea knock us out of the League Cup at the first hurdle. Utter crap so far!

October

This is absolute tripe! We are not even putting up a fight anymore. Derby absolutely smashed us to pieces. I’ve changed the formation to a flat back 4 instead of full backs to see if that helps.

November/December

November is the usual rubbish. I’ve transfer listed every single player and 3 or 4 have gone already. Back to back wins brings some Christmas cheer before Leeds wipe that out on Boxing Day.

January

We are in big trouble. 9 points away from safety and no sign of turning it around. We beat Gateshead at the end of the month to give us a tiny bit of hope.

February

We grab a good draw against Newcastle then beat Man City. Sheffield United, who are top of the Premier League, and Liverpool bring us right back to earth with a bump. I can’t wait for this season to be over!

March

13 points behind with 7 games to go. Can we pull off an absolute miracle?

April/May

Of course we can’t! Relegated and we thoroughly deserve it as well. It’s been a disaster of a season from start to finish.
