A Royale Mess – A Blog Squad Tale | Part Seven: Zambianavia | @KingOfTheRooks

Welcome back one and all! Here we are again in the Scottish Division Three, also known as the Blog Squad League. We’re approaching the end of September, so the gents have been pondering their transfer targets. Can anyone improve their position before the window?

We have three sets of league fixtures this week to bring us to the end of September. And first up it’s Matt’s AIK vs. Rob’s Gods. I don’t know what frequency Kenneth is tuned into but that is a match winning performance if there ever was one from the 18-year-old.

Following it up with more style, it’s Ross and Nick. Nick is desperate for a point. The wait goes on. Nick was well in the game until his star man Bjorkan picked up a second yellow.

With Miti on form and Tchami doing well from the bench, Nick might start to look more to his Zambian triplets in future. I face the full wrath of Nathan’s Rosenborg. Nath’s squad might be small but it’s low-key stacked.

Deano’s red-hot Goteborg were up against Phil’s middling’s AaB. Assume Deano’s boys have been on the razz the night before as they get well and truly out grafted.

AaB looked weak at the start, but they are growing into the season. Final fixture of the week was Zak’s ssons vs. Dave cereal losers.

With Mjelde pulling a 5, it was never going to be easy for Dave. Mjelde really needs to turn up.

A fine week for the neutral. 37 goals. Fantastic.

A second league week on the bounce. What a treat. No cups? Scotland, you disappoint me.

In the manager holiday derby, Phil shows off his AaB’s. Soren’s 4 pack earning him a MotM.

Next up, in a wild turn up for the books, Dave wins. Matt limpars to another defeat.

Out of absolutely nowhere, I manage to win 2-0 away to Ross’ Brondby side. The man with the golden baek winning the plaudits for running the show.

Poor Nick, even the Zambian’s can’t dig him out.

Deano looks like he is purposefully trying to drop down the league to get three transfers.

And there you have it, another decent haul on the goal front.

We open week three with a magnificent display from manager holiday Phil again. Yes Matt, it has all the feels of being a Man Utd fan doesn’t it?

Poor Nick blah blah blah. He’s looking forward to the transfer window.

Nick needs to up the Tembo. Deano! What the hell has happened. Goteborg are in free fall.

Finally, someone beats Nathan again. And it’s manager holiday Zak.

Although it comes with a sacrifice. Par for the course. Finally, and, unexpectedly, Dave’s Brann side give the Gods a run for their money. Unfortunately, after going down to 10-men they give up the lead and drop to defeat. Unlucky.

And with that, our league games proceeding the wild ride of our transfer window are done. How do things stand?

Top players so far:

Oh yeah, there were some cup games. Here they are:

F*** the cups. And with that we say goodnight, farewell, adios, do one. See you next time.
