Bonjour and happy Vendredi! Welcome back to Bayonne, where I’ve managed to assemble a squad of 17 players in time for the start of the Ligue 2 season, which isn’t bad considering the limited pool of players I have to sign from. Wish us luck, I think we’re going to need it…
Hello! or perhaps that should be Bonjour. I hope you enjoyed the Portuguese adventure with Wolves, but I’m back for a new challenge now. Where am I heading? Well, this is a twist on an old favourite, which you don’t want to miss, or you might find PC Danny Butterman coming up to you and saying…
Bom Dia! and welcome to the final episode with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who are struggling in the league, but can still win the League Cup and Champions League for a second time. Will they end this story in style? For the last time, here’s Nick…
You wouldn’t believe we started the season brilliantly and were 2nd after 12 games, but things have gone horribly wrong since. Let’s see if we can finish in a respectable position…
Bom Dia! and welcome to the penultimate episode with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who are doing well in pretty much every competition apart from the league. They’ve already secured the World Club Cup, but can they now add the European Super Cup to the cabinet? Here’s Nick…
This is how the table is looking. We were 2nd not so long ago, but after just two wins from our last eight games, we’ve slid all the way down to 7th. The optimist in me says that it’s only the halfway point, so let’s hope better things lie ahead for us this week. Let’s go…
Bom Dia! and welcome back to the eleventh and final season with Nick and his pack of Portuguese Wolves that he’s assembled over the last decade. They’ve made a decent start in the league and Europe so far, but will they take their chance to become world champions? Here’s Nick to update us…
Here’s how the league table is looking after twelve games. We’d be a lot better off if we could just hold onto a lead, but that said, we’re only a point behind Liverpool, so hopefully they won’t be on their perch for long. Let’s go..
Bom Dia! and welcome to season eleven with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who are now champions of Europe! This season will bring them the opportunity to win the remaining three trophies on the list, but first, Nick has some bad news for us…
After much deliberation, I’ve decided that this will be the last season of this adventure. After finally winning the league and then the Champions League, it feels like the right time to call it a day, plus the inconsistent league form of this team is really driving me nuts!
Continue readingBom Dia! and welcome to the end of the tenth season with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves, who have reached the League Cup final, but first there’s still a Champions League quarter-final to be won. Can they dig deep to get the job done? Over to Nick…
We’re 6th in the league, and as usual, scoring hasn’t been a problem, but conceding very much has. But considering we were 11th, and have games in-hand on most teams above us, it could turn out to be a reasonable season yet.
Bom Dia! and welcome back for more Friday fun and frolics with Nick and his Portuguese Wolves. They’re in the quarter finals of the Champions League, and still going strong in both domestic cups, but there’s work to be done in the league. How will it all unravel this week? Here’s Nick…
The league table isn’t the best reading if I’m honest. We were as low as eleventh, but things began to pick up towards the end of last week with 4-1 and 5-1 wins over Barnsley and Villa respectively, so hopefully that’s a sign that things are finally on the up. Let’s rock and roll.
Bom Dia! and welcome along to another Friday at Molineux, where Nick’s defending Premiership champions haven’t had the best start to season ten domestically, but they’ve been taking full advantage of a favourable Champions League group, so there is hope. Let the fun resume…
The title of champions is certainly weighing heavy on our shoulders at the minute. We’ve had no problem scoring goals as usual, but just can’t seem to hold onto a lead to save our lives, and have drawn almost half our games so far. Surely this can’t carry on for much longer…
