P06 – CM9798: Half & Half Premier League | @KingOfTheRooks

Welcome back again to the Half and Half Premier League! Last week, Robbie Fowler’s match ban was extended to eight games with an additional five earned at the close of the month. If you want to be reminded why, you can do so here.

“(Christmas), and the scarves coming out! (Christmas), half and half’s all about!” Yes, it’s December and we must plough on through this field of s**** to the end of the season to reap what we have sewn. Derbyham Foresty, in no danger of financial trouble, sell their top scorer:

P09 – Binary Brilliance: Tackling CM2 97/98 with an AI Co-Pilot! | @tjmitcham1983

Welcome back to part nine of the Uniao de Lamas AI adventure! Despite blowing a load of cork money on half a new squad, Diogo and Miguel have only reached sixth place at halfway in season three. But form is decent, Savio is banging them in like an ex-Real Madrid starlet, and the Comendador’s stadium has been rocking of late. Let’s see if it continues.

First up it’s time for a tweak. Diogo lets Miguel’s AI brain take the reins, and it’s time to pass our opponents into oblivion!

P05 – CM9798: Half & Half Premier League | @KingOfTheRooks

Welcome back to the Half and Half Premier League! Confused? So are we. We’re approaching the mid-point in this madness, but there are clear and obvious winners and losers despite the mixed nature of the new league.

This week we start November with a keen eye elsewhere. As a massive advertisement for the league, the UEFA Cup sees Arseham take on the Crystal Dons. A draw sees the Dons through on aggregate.

Welcome back to the unpredictable and occasionally amusing realm of human/AI co-managership! We rejoin the action at the outset of season three. The owners, flush with cork-fueled wealth, have finally injected some funds, blessing us with an almost £2m bankroll. It’s high time to overhaul this squad!

However, our newfound financial cushion doesn’t prevent our top players from having release clauses that attract attention from bigger clubs. Our stellar winger, Mbarga, succumbs to the allure of the Dutch demi-giants, Vitesse Arnhem..

P04 (2nd Attempt!) – CM9798: Half & Half Premier League | @KingOfTheRooks

Today we bring you the episode you missed before Christmas when the bugs of WordPress had it out for the Half & Half Premier League, hopefully you can see this monstrosity this time round…

Hello and welcome back! I’d have something witty to say, but by god this is a shocking idea that should never have left my head. Last time out, A City United continued to do season one Man Utd’s work as usual. If you missed it, you can catch up here.

Welcome back to Lamas FC! At the midway point of a crucial season where promotion is a must, we currently sit in sixth place. Our recent adoption of an AI-inspired defensive 4-1-4-1 formation has brought about significant success. Goalkeeper Peter Rufai has been amassing clean sheets lately, stacking them up like a laundry!

But we start this week’s update with a dull defeat at home. A pretty even match, but we simply didn’t take our chances.

Hello and welcome back to our unique human/AI management endeavor. The Lamas have amassed only six points from their initial seven games, and Diogo’s patience with our lacklustre defence has run its course.

It’s time for a drastic alteration! Our chances of promotion are dimmed by our continuous defensive lapses. I’ve tasked Miguel with taking the reins of our formation for the first time. Let’s see what innovative approach he brings to the table…

Welcome back aboard the Uniao de Lamas ship! After a moderate first season, it’s time for Human Diogo and AI Miguel to revamp the squad for the upcoming campaign.

Our initial focus is on contract negotiations, with three deals nearing expiration. We’ve extended an offer solely to hardworking CDM Altino. Interestingly, both Quim and the loaned right-back Sousa will soon be free agents, presenting an opportunity for potential free acquisitions. However, we’ve decided to part ways with bit-part winger Rochinha to urgently reduce the wage bill. Additionally, backup keeper Motta departs as his contract concludes, leaving us with just the three keepers!

P04 – Binary Brilliance: Tackling CM97/98 with an AI Co-Pilot! | @tjmitcham1983

Welcome back to the cork-funded, AI-managed world of Uniao de Lamas. We left the team in mid-table with a slightly negative goal difference. There’s much room for improvement, but with the collaboration between human and AI management, we have the necessary tools!

The first game of the second half saw us leading at halftime, courtesy of an Armando strike. An exhilarating burst of five goals in five minutes had the Comendador’s stadium rocking, yet we had to settle for an electric 3-3 draw.
