The CM9798 Lockdown Challenge – Season 6: Anyone fancy Monaco?

Good morning! Well done if you’re still in the game. You’ve come through five tough challenges but now we’re at the sixth and final hurdle. Buckle in, it’s going to be a wild one. Does anyone fancy Monaco?

By this point in the game, Monaco are usually starting the great decline. They have a tiny stadium and players on huge salaries, so if they miss out on that delicious Champions League cash they begin the descent to midtable. It’s up to you to stop that.

Thanks again to Nick @cmclassicsquads for the great work!

You can resign from Northern Ireland and your current club job.

Add yourself in as Monaco (+100 points if magically get offered it by September 1st 2002)

You have a maximum of three seasons to fill your boots with points.

Win Champions League (+200 points per time – retaining it will earn you double points)
Win Ligue 1 (+100 points per time – retaining it will earn double points)
Win Coupe de France (+50 points per time – retaining it will earn double points)
Win French League Cup (+50 points per time – retaining it will earn double points)
Win UEFA Cup/Cup Winners Cup (+150 points – retaining it will earn double points)
Win World Club Cup/European Super Cup (+50 points – retaining it will earn double points)

Bonus: Sign any of the original squad, listed below. We’ll even include Gennaro Monaco who has snuck in there. (+50 points, maximum 1 per season). Regens do no count.
Finish every season not in debt: (+100 / -100 in debt) – 1st June every end of season

Needless to say retaining them doesn’t count (and don’t release and re-sign for goodness sake)

So to explain how the double thing works, here are some scenarios

Season 1: Win CL (200). Season 2: Quarter finals. (0). Season 3: Win CL (200) = 400 points

Season 1: Nothing. Season 2: Win CL (200). Season 3: Win CL (400) = 600 points

Season 1: Win CL (200) Season 2: Win CL (400) Season 3: Win CL (800) = 1400 points

Here are the Monaco lads:

Lockdown ends on December 2nd but I’m going to run this until Monday 7th December. Submissions by Twitter or Email please! Screens needed:

Entries are coming in all the time so don’t be surprised if some who are yet to submit challenge 4 come up on the outside.

The last chance is purposefully set up to be different and laden with points. Anybody could still win, hit those delicious multipliers and the points get quite tasty.

See you for the results show!
