What’s Your Beath? Part 30: Invincible

Well good morning to you, possibly for one final time from Cowdenbeath. It says all about the evolution of my personal life that when this blog was in its infancy about 8 years ago, I’d have about 6 weeks worth in hand to roll out seamlessly. Now, I sit here at 11:27pm beginning to type this up after a week (and evening) of having to pause the Cowdenfun to feed a small child. Anyway, Cowdenbeath are flying, having already collected three trophies with the promise of more to come. Here’s where we rejoin the greatest team:

What’s Your Beath? Part 29: Bank Holiday Trebles

Hello hello and merry Sunday to you. If you’re in the UK, you’ll be basking in that warm glow of both the sun being out but also the fact that tomorrow is bank holiday Monday. Meanwhile, in Cowdenbeath, things are off to a great start in our attempts to defend our domestic and European titles. We’ve got the World Club Cup and European Super Cup to compete for in this episode so let’s get into it.

What’s Your Beath? Part 26: Drop one, curl one

Good day to you. Welcome back to Scotland, where Cowdenbeath are, for once, making the running in the early stages of a Scottish Premier Division season. A three point lead over Celtic is slender, but the 7 point cushion to Rangers gives me a tickling in my undercarriage. Still, if that doesn’t put you off, let’s find out what the middle section of season 10 can provide us.

What’s Your Beath? Part 24: Fowl Play

Good hello to you. Here we are again then, Cowdenbeath rubbing shoulders with Celtic and Rangers and desperately trying to win that elusive first Premier Division title. Hopefully you are as invested in this as I am…because it’s starting to annoy me. Celtic being unbeaten so far this season does not help but we’ll face them twice in this episode, so let’s ruffle some feathers.

What’s your Beath? Part 23: Oh Vienna

Good hello to you! Welcome back to Cowdenbeath for the twenty third instalment of this journey. If you’re new to us, we started in Division 3 twenty-two short weeks ago (with a little break in the middle) and here we are, still trying to hunt down that first Scottish Premier Division title. A couple of second places have given us hope, now we just need to find a way to finish above both Old Firm sides and not just one. Here’s how we sit after the opening exchanges of season 9.

What’s your Beath? Part 22: Anyone fancy Monaco?

Hello there and happy Easter to you. I hope the Easter Bunny has brought you chocolate or whatever adults get for Easter. I’ve been on two separate egg hunts this weekend, which sounds a laugh but I’m bloody tired now and apparently it’s not the etiquette to share the eggs with your Dad. Meanwhile, back in Cowdenbeath we came second in the latest three horse race but this time Celtic came out on top. The sooner Michael Owen buggers off back south of the border, the better. So, what’s on the agenda this week?

What’s your Beath? Part 21: Bhoys to Men

Hello! As a man thoroughly enjoying Ted Lasso at the moment, let me tell you – Football is Life! Whilst we don’t have Dani Rojas here at Cowdenbeath we do have Hristo Pavlov, or Stoichdog if you prefer. It’s every bit a three horse race at the top and for once it’s Celtic who are at the top of the pile. It’ll be a huge disappointment for whoever misses out on the lucrative Champions League spot but maybe this is our chance to win the league for the first time. Let’s see how it plays out…
