Benidorm CF – Part 5: A Roll in a Palace | @FMCM_FC

Sneaky Tuesday brings Nath back to the hot desk. Can Benidorm consolidate a promotion push?

Hello and welcome back to Benidorm. The temperature is dropping but the fancy dressed stag and hen dos keep on coming. For us, we’ve had a fantastic run in the Copa Del Rey come to an end and a rocky month in the November but remain in the promotion places. Let’s see what this update has in store.

December

Brian is in Benidorm for the winter and pops in to training to see us. He even has time for a kick about before we had back to my office. He says he’s sorted out the Christmas Party for us with a trip to the Benidorm Palace for a luxury cabaret night and has even organised a meet and greet for my family with the headline act. Before then though we have a game against Rayo Vallecano which we lose. It’s a really poor performance and Pete absolutely batters the team in training the week after!

Benidorm CF – Part 4: Fiesta!

Hello. Welcome back to Benidorm where Adibas beats Adidas every single time. Last time out we had Kirkby committing a crime against a refs car in light up trainers after some very controversial decisions in a game. In this update It’s Fiesta season in Benidorm and we all get involved.

October

We have a big game coming up in the 2nd leg of our Copa Del Rey game against Toledo. The week leading up to the game training is intense. Pete has put together a ruthless routine but everyone steps up. The 1st leg is still fresh in everyone’s mind after the hurt of some of decisions. Kirkby is quiet in training, which is really unusual. He has a steely determination to everything being thrown at him.

Benidorm CF – Part 3: Light Up A Flat Tyre | @FMCM_FC

Good morning and welcome to Nath Tuesday. Every Tuesday is Nath Tuesday. The Benidorm save is starting to spice up, what does September have in store?

Hello and welcome back to Benidorm. In the last update we managed to get a team together thanks to new super-agent Saul. We knocked out a La Liga team to reach the next round of the Copa Del Rey & we found one of our star players in Cafe Benidorm dressed as a baby. Let’s check out how it’s going since then.

Benidorm CF – Part 2: Anyone & Everyone | @FMCM_FC

It’s a bit chilly these days, let’s hang on to our warmer days and head back to Benidorm with Nath.

Hello and welcome back to Benidorm, where on one street you can see a midget strip show and on the very next street sit down for a nice family meal. When you left us Brian McEwan, crazy owner of Benidorm CF had made me manager of his team. We met a few of the characters at the club and saw the stadium. Now we just need a team to start the season. Let’s dive in.

July/August

I had no idea how hard it is to get a team together! We are starting with next to no players at all so me and Pete are ringing everyone and anyone to try and get players in. I’m explaining this to Juan’s dad in his bar, it’s quickly become my favourite haunt as it’s really quiet compared to most Benidorm bars. A man approaches wearing chino shorts and slim fit white shirt. He says his name is Saul and he’s an agent. Now being in Benidorm i don’t know if he’s serious or just another windup merchant. Juan’s dad spots him and they embrace. He tells me he used to look after Juan when he was on trial in Valencia. We get chatting and agree to meet at the training ground in a week. He says he will have some players for us to look at.

He doesn’t disappoint. Pete has brought a few along as well to make enough for 11 a side. There are some truly awful players, but we sign a few up on the spot. Brian has flown in for the game. He offers us £9 million in the transfer kitty and brings Saul on as our own personal agent. After a couple of weeks, we have a squad in place.

Benidorm CF – Part 1: A Life Changing Holiday | @FMCM_FC

Nath’s Totti blog came to a close last week but he’s an ideas man and as such, we go again this week. But where?

Hello All. Welcome to my brand new blog which will be a little bit different to usual. This will be more of a story than a blog with Benidorm FC (Newly formed in the DB). We will follow certain characters throughout the blog. In this intro blog we will start the adventure and meet some of those characters.

Intro

Touchdown at last! It’s been 2 years since we’d been back to Benidorm but finally we arrive for a week in the sun. I swear the bus ride from Alicante to Benidorm gets longer and longer every time. We pass our hotel about 3 times before eventual we get off and check in.

The Last Roman – Part 35: World Cup 2010 Special: The Last Ride | @FMCM_FC

All good things come to an end. Can Nath bow out with the 2010 World Cup?

Hello and welcome back. We are in Argentina for the 2010 World Cup. We have won the previous 2 World Cups but have had 2 dismal Euros so i honestly have no idea where this current Italy team is. I’m not confident but i wasn’t last time and we won so you never know. Here is the squad.

The Last Roman – Part 33: Rome Is Crumbling | @FMCM_FC

Hello and welcome back to Rome. Last season was easily our worst one yet. We just about survived in the league with Roma and Italy got knocked out in the group stages of the Euros (Again!!). We need to bounce back this season with time running out for Totti to add to his collection of trophies and personal accolades. Let’s dive in.

August/September

I don’t care how old he is, you sign him!

The Last Roman – Part 32: Euro 2008 Special | @FMCM_FC

Hello everyone and welcome to Spain for Euro 2008. The less said about the season we’ve just had with Roma the better. Hopefully Italy can give us some good news. We’ve won 2 World Cups so far but we couldn’t even get out of the group in the last Euros so we are aiming to get out the group as a bare minimum this time. We are in a group with Iceland, Greece & Croatia so it shouldn’t be a problem.

The Last Roman – Part 31: Rome Is Falling | @FMCM_FC

Happy Tuesday all. We are back in Rome. Totti is leading the charge again. Last season we finished 2nd behind a rampant Torino side who blew everyone away. We have a chance in the Champions League again. If we can avoid Barcelona that would be nice. Let’s dive in.

August

Before we kick off just a quick note to say Totti was named European Footballer of the year again and Football Writers player of the year again as well. What a player!
