Happy Monday. Another week is it? Here’s Zak to get it off to a flying start
Welcome back to Season Seven, Champers.
Last time out our Plymouth Argyle heroes won promotion to Division two via automatic promotion. It means we’re done with the lower division challenges, and next on our hit list of Neil Warnock achievements is promotion to the Premier League.
Greetings and happy Monday. Back after an enforced one week break is Zak, closing out another season of the Warnock challenge. Will it be another Warnock success story?
Welcome back, Champers.
Niall Warnock’s Plymouth Argyle side have ten games left of the 2002-03 season. Division Three is proving somewhat challenging for our young Padawan. Argyle are five points off automatic promotion and five points clear of the playoff chasers. Let’s go!
Reminder of the squad; A few ‘wtd’ signs and three weeks to keep the lads together before the transfer window closes.
Morning all, obviously the strangest of times at the moment and nothing seems to spark a pile on like a royal debate at the moment, so let me just say I hope you’re all doing what you need to for your own well being. It would be an added bonus if that involves reading these pages – as ever on a Monday, we have Zak and the Warnock save, so what’s going on this week?
“Sir Alex said ‘we have it wet because we skim it around.‘ I went “can we have it dry and long”?
Warnock and SAF compare their preferred playing surface at Old Trafford prior to an FA Cup Semi Final in 2000. What did you think they were talking about?
Welcome back, Champers. Last time out our Plymouth Argyle heroes qualified for the FA Cup third round, and Windscreen Shield third round, as well as consolidated our position in the league.
Here’s how the squad looks; regens of Tim Sherwood, Paul Gascoigne, Ruel Fox, Nicky Forster and Teddy Sheringham are amongst the names.
Monday has been Zak day for some timebut now my sabbatical is over I feel the need to point it out. Keep up the good work and let’s see what Plymouth are up to today…
Welcome back, Champers. Niall Warnock has followed brother Neil’s lead, and is settling into life on the South Coast. Our Plymouth side currently occupy twelfth, being propelled by the regenerated incarnations of Paul Gascoigne, Teddy Sheringham, Nicky Forster and Tim Sherwood.
We start this episode against table-toppers York City. An early goal from young Nicky Forster (Pates) is not enough to prevent York winning. One of my ex-players Paul Wanless scores against me. Fair play, lad.
For you good folks it’s been a week since Niall Warnock’s Cheltenham side missed out on promotion to Division Two. For me, it’s been about six weeks since I clicked through and saw the lads Champ-manned by Oldham. A summer break, [with a sprinkling of Norwich City on CM2 for sister-site @Champmanfans] has meant Niall, his trusted ‘League Scout 2’ and long suffering fax machinr are raring to go and attack this challenge.
Hello Warnock loathers, and welcome back to our season 4 finale. Last time out we lost Stan Collymore to the bright lights of London and saw a blip in form see us tumble from top down to fifth.
Hello Warnock loathers… Last time out Niall’s Cheltenham started an ascent up the table. Can we continue the climb?
We start with a league game at Darlington. A double-red card for Darlo in the first half effectively sees the game off for them. We can’t score more than a penalty rebound, but it’s enough to secure a 1-0 win.
Welcome back, Warnock-loathers. It’s the 2001-02 season, Niall Warnock is in Cheltenham, there’s no Mike Duff and form is proving hard to come-by. Let’s go!
Here’s how the squad is looking twelve games in; Loanee’s Alex Inglethorpe and Russel Anderson are joined by Hernan Hreidarsson and Tim Sherwood.
Welcome back, Warnock fans! Last time out we won promotion to the First Division with Nottingham Forest and had a date at Wembley in the Windscreen Shield . Here’s a spreadsheet update…
Welcome back to the 2000-01 season finale, Warno-brothers! It’s a two-horse race for the Division 2 title between our Nottingham Forest side and Stoke City. We’ve also got our first Wembley date on the horizon. Can new-boy Freddy Leon spearhead an end-of-season run? Wish me luck….
Shortly after Freddy Leon signs, another International, Salif Diao, joins on a free after being released by Monaco. I also sign Giles Grimandi from Arsenal as left back cover [though he injures himself almost immediately]. It means I’ll change-up my formation to accommodate. It’s a risk – and certainly harsh on the magnificent George Ndah who will now be pushed out wide.
