Happy Weekend! Ross is here to start your Saturday with a bang as he tries to rebuild Leeds again again.
Ahoy-hoy! When I last left you we had just suffered defeat to Wimbledon. Lets see if we can get back on track this week.
First up we’ve got Chelsea, always a tough ask on this game but thankfully for me Hasselbaink and Bowyer prove too much for them and we proceed to pick up a good win.
The easy games continue as its Arsenal up next and after falling behind to a Chris Wreh goal we do thankfully level it up to escape with a 1-1 draw, Emmers this time the hero.
Lee Bowyer and Marc Emmers again are the difference as we dispatch Everton with ease 2-0
It’s chaos as we play Barnsley in a big Yorkshire derby, 5-3 the final score with both Jimmy and Jan banging in hat tricks. Wallace and Bowyer (again) proving to be the difference in the end.
Looking to keep the good run going it’s away at Bolton and said good run comes to a crashing end, we lose 2-1 Beardsley picks up the MOTM award which tells you everything really.
We get back to winning ways by dismantling Sheffield Wednesday, Thanks mainly to an inspired performance from Rod Wallace who at full time in this one boasts season stats of 13 goals in 14 games, Rodney!
Leicester come to Elland Road looking to win but sadly for them all they find is defeat, 3-1 Leeds even Alfie Haaland scores. I wonder if i can sign his newborn to our academy.
Newcastle next who did me dirty to the tune of two 4-1 defeats the last time i tried this are handled relatively comfortably this time thanks to yep you guessed it goals from Jimmy and Lee Bowyer. Davd Batty gets a booking, Never change David, Never change.
We will end with the big derby game for Leeds, away at Old Trafford, We hold out as long as we can in this one but Scholes scores in the 70th min and once you fall behind to a team with Phil Neville in defence you don’t get back into the games.
As is almost tradition now I’m rounding off the update with a defeat.
I was going to do the games comparison again between the two saves but let’s put it this way, I’m currently 5th. We didn’t get higher than 16th at all last time so safe to say it’s going better this time.
