Back on their perch – Part 6 | @RossBell1984

Ross has reached the end of the 1997/98 season but can Liverpool manage one last push to beat Man Utd to the Premier League title? Catch up with part 5 here.

Here we go then, It’s been a while to build tension. We’ve all had some time to think about what we are doing with our lives. I’ve had the boys in for extra training and group hug sessions and we are primed and ready to go.

4 games left starting with Man U at Anfield, a win here and we are as good as champions with our remaining games.

FFS, waste of time, I hate this game. Even Terry eff’in Cooke scores.

3 to go, 3 points is the gap. Man Utd don’t lose very often so I guess all we can do is keep winning and hope.

Well that was easy. Agent James with a helping hand.

Villa next and it takes a while, 90 mins in fact, but a win is a win at this stage.

Final game of the season then. We have Saints which should be a walk in the park. Man Utd are away at Newcastle which is whatever the opposite of a walk in the park is.

We handle our business with ease we are 4-0 up in the first 10 mins Le Tiss scores but its a hat trick for Owen as we do all we can. I wish this game had a live league table in it. Maybe something to think of in the future eh developers?

Over at St James’s Park and it’s an absolute miracle

Gary Speed who in the real world is an absolute hero to me for the part he played in Leeds 90’s success proves yet again why he’s a total legend.

That’s it, we’ve done it! Something that has taken countless managers over 20 years to do I have managed in one season with this squad of incredibly talented players.

A quick look at the awards before we sign off. I’ve completed the one season aim of this save but if you want me to continue then le me know via Twitter or in the comments section.
