Happy hump day! It’s finally time for the Blog Squad to make their Premier League bow. Can they mix it with the very best?
Welcome back and thank you for joining us on this wild journey with my team of bloggers and random CM players!
Last week we made it to the Premier League. It’s been relatively easy so far as we’ve stormed the previous 3 divisions but now comes the real test.
We kick off our Premiership adventure with a 1 nil defeat to Everton, We created a lot of chances but it seems keepers are much better here. Admittedly starting an ancient Martin Keown at CB was a mistake but the regular CB pairing of Myself and Andrew Chapman has been split up once again due to suspension!
We get our first 3 points with a victory at White Hart Lane, a late winner from the underrated Brockman who had ended the last season in fantastic goalscoring form bringing that through to the premiership!
We also added a couple players to the squad over the summer as you’ll notice Bjarne Goldbaek, Victor Onopko & Thomas Bolin have joined the ranks.
The first EPL win at the Arena and it comes against Man U or at least something that resembles Man U as its a mismatch of all sorts of premier league players. Zak scores again along with Dave netting his first goal since his return.
That Leeds team looks strong but they couldn’t overcome our firepower, Nevland and Solskjaer did the damage.
No stopping Nevland it seems as he bags a hat trick to bring us 3 more points.
Leicester give us the most one sided 2-0 beating ive ever seen. We didn’t even register a single shot on target.
Barnsley to start with are still in the EPL 4 years down the line, Good for them. Also good for us that Barnsely are still here for an easy 3 points. Zak bags another as does Nevland and Brolin also gets his first for us.
Finally for this week we will end with a very comfortable 4-0 victory over Chelsea. This was a huge shock as they look very strong but they can’t handle Black and Nevland.
There we go then, at this point we are sitting in second just 3 points behind the early pace setters of Aston Villa.
Join me next week for more Premiership goodness.
