Return of the King: Kenny Do It Again? P04 | @KingOfTheRooks

Welcome back to the final part in our latest historic squad recall. So far so good, we’re running United to the wire. Sutton (33) and Shearer (35) are battling it out for the top scorer in the league and with at least 10 games plus cups to go, I’d hope they’ll get a few more. You can catch-up here.

Speaking of cups, bye Chelsea. What a massive attendance…

We get Derby in the semi-final, avoiding United thankfully. Morrison picks up a ban and Sherwood is once again injured. We care not one bit as Sutton (36) puts Southampton to the sword and goes one up on Shearer (35).

It’s the dirty boys next. And Sutton increases his lead (37) as Shearer goes missing.

As a consequence of ‘un-retiring’ Tony Gale, he is able to sign himself on loan at Cardiff.

Elsewhere, Arsenal still can’t control themselves. Shearer brings it back to himself (38). And we are League Cup winners!

However, we progress to the FA Cup final, as Sutton (38) levels things up.

Losing Ripley is a bitter pill to swallow.

FYI its United in the final as expected.

We’re happy to squeeze another win at Villa. The ‘keepers are having blinders against us, particularly Shearer who needs a ton of shots to score. We hold our own in the league to keep things steady, although a dirty United see Batty out for a while.

How we got more yellows is beyond me. United always getting a warning despite multiple fouls.

Shearer goes out in front (39) however, a draw at Newcastle is useless. Ketsbaia kicks the hoardings in celebration.

Advantage Shearer:

We score 5 past Bolton, but SAS get none of them.

Hendry’s season is over. He’ll be out for a year with a broken leg.

Another poor showing from the actual strikers.

Warhorse is no Sutton. We’re back to 39 apiece vs. Spurs.

And now it’s 41 apiece. Oh my.

The table looks favourable:

United would need a massive swing in their favour. I think we have it wrapped up.

United draw so it’s down to us to not lose 10-0 away to 20th place, already relegated Crystal Palace. I think we can do this…

Advantage Sutton (42) but Batty will miss the FA Cup final. That’s a real blow. CHAMPIONS!

Fergie’s failing was putting an on-fire Scholes on the bench in favour of Sheringham and Cole. How that swung in our favour! The game throws us one last curve ball…

Given will have to step in for the FA Cup final. Oooofffff.

It’s 42 apiece for SAS. And we’re FA Cup winners too! Not sure what United were doing, they were terrible. Given puts in a MotM display supposedly.

So, who will the game decide gets the reward?

Shearer gets it. Fair play, there have been a shed load of goals by the looks of the standings. If you’re here for one last lol?

Fergie wins nothing, Blackburn do the treble and my task is complete. The question is, who to resurrect next?…
