The Blog Squad FC – Part 6 | @RossBell1984

Here’s the Big Ross Man to see you through Wednesday with the latest from the Blog Squad

I’m back that can only mean its hump day, can we get over the hump and start to win some games in division 2?

In short no, a 0-0 draw whilst in Carlisle is a miserable place to be.

A WIN, A BLOODY WIN! you may also notice a new lad i’ve added to the squad making his debut from the bench. Because if you can’t buy a win you can always buy more strikers!

Something approaching form as we record back to back wins for the first time this season. Stoitchkov doing the damage.

Ah well that lasted long. Annoying.

A very late winner from Nevland against the 10 men of Millwall is just enough to secure us the win. Why can’t it be like last season? We also lose Andrew ‘the Rock’ Chapman to injury.

Oldham’s decision to play former Leeds right back Gary Kelly in goal backfires as he can’t keep out our firepower. A 10 for Craig Boardman in a losing effort, Don’t see many of those.

4-0 away against Bristol C, Easy.

whisper it quietly but we are starting to fire here, we are still bobbing around mid table but putting together some wins will certainly help, that’s how football works. Bjorn bags against Orient just to rub it in.

A rare goal for David Lee and another for Stoitchkov makes it 5 wins in a row. I’m a big fan of that.

A red card for Stoitchkov inside 10 mins isn’t ideal but we overcame it thanks to a goal from Dave.

Lets end this week with a battering of Grimsby, a goal and a 10 for David Lee makes for a wonderful afternoon all around.

That’s the halfway point of the season and thanks to a great run of form we are in the final playoff spot as we end this week.

I’ll be back next Wednesday to brighten up your day.
