Hello and welcome back to Rome for another Tuesday with Totti and co. In the last update we started season 4 by crashing out of the UEFA Cup to Sunderland in the 2nd round. So it’s full steam ahead on the domestic front.
Francesco Totti!! What a player! He totally dismantles the Milan defence with a 1st half hattrick. He adds a 4th from the spot in the second half.
Not our greatest performance but Salas is there in the 82nd minute to save all 3 points for us.
Parma are currently managerless and struggling. Salas and Roll make this a comfortable one for us.
This is complete bullshit! Straight red in the 13th minute for a foul worthy of a yellow. Then we have 2 disallowed goals for absolutely no reason! This was our game in hand as well so it’s even more annoying.
Cagliari are doing well so far in 5th. Totti gives us the lead after a great pass from Roll. Unfortunately this provokes Cagliari into action. A quickfire “etti” double from Minetti and Bitetti turns the game on its head before half time. Salas scores with a rebound straight from kick off in the second half but that’s as good as it gets.
Really close and gritty game in the Coppa Italia QF 1st leg. Salas gives us the lead in the 75th minute which looks to be enough until Edmundo nods an 89th minute equaliser. What a sickener!
A hard fought win away at Castel di Sangro. Salas opens the scoring but we get pegged back when Bellucci heads home from a corner. Salas scores again in the final minute of the 2nd half to seal the win.
I hate playing Salernitana. They are always such awkward opposition. We get the win against them this time though with Roll scoring with a well placed finish just before half time.
When Totti is in the mood there is not a team that can stop him. He has a goal chalked off after 2 minutes and that really pisses him off. His first official goal comes in the 26th minute before he adds two goals in the same minute (39th) to seal a first half hattrick. Brescia grab a 90th minute consolation goal. A quick word for Roll as well who assisted 2 of Totti’s goals superbly.
We are into the Coppa Italia Semi Finals. This is a really cagey affair until it all kicks off in the 74th minute. Edmundo gets sent off for a 2nd yellow. Batigol then misses a sitter and we go up the other end and score thanks to Roll following in Salas’ blocked effort. Wright and Curtis get in each others way in the 90th minute but again Batigol misses a sitter.
A thriller against Empoli. Curtis gets a rare goal from a corner just 3 minutes in. Empoli pile forward and make it 2-1 before half time. 2 goals in the first 2 minutes of the second half from Salas and Totti turn the game around again! Totti grabs a 2nd to seal the win.

We have an 8 point gap back to Milan in 4th which is brilliant. The bad news is Inter are keeping us at arms length and Juventus are battering everyone! So we will just keep plodding along.
