Hello and welcome back to 30 for 30. We are into season 29 which i sincerely hope is the last one! We’ve been to Morton, Coventry, Motherwell, Palace, Man Utd back to Palace, Arsenal and Rangers. It took us 20 seasons to win a top trophy but then we won the lot in Glasgow. So let’s do this one final time and get to that coveted last screen on CM 97/98.
Hello and welcome back to 30 for 30. We are nearly there with this challenge which has been epic and draining all in one. Last season was a real come down. We went from all conquering to losing it all. This season is about redemption.
Hello and welcome to Season 27. It’s been a grind but we are finally having some good times with Rangers. Last season was simply perfect. We won every trophy available to us cumulating with winning the Champions League! Let’s see if we can retain any of these titles.
Hello and welcome back to our 30 for 30 challenge. The end is near (thank god!!) but we still have a couple of seasons left. Last season was easily our most successful so far as we completed the Scottish League and Cup double with Rangers. This season we are going to have an assault at the Champions League.
Hello and welcome back to the 30 for 30 challenge. Last season we moved back up North to Glasgow Rangers. After a brief flirt with the bottom of the table we finally found a formation & the players to fit that formation, to march up to 2nd place. We were absolutely no where near Celtic though. Can we close the gap this season?
August
I don’t normally mention transfers because I’m that far in I have no idea who is who anymore. However I have signed Justo Castro who is the Chilavert regen as back up and Docabo-Donini who was my striker at Arsenal and won the golden boot twice. Picking him up on a free is fantastic business!
Hello and welcome to another season for 30 For 30. We are entering season 24 of this mammoth journey. It’s our 3rd season at Arsenal and so far we’ve finished 5th and 2nd. So this year i really want us to win a trophy. Let’s see what we can!
Hello and welcome back to season 23 – We’ve been to Morton, Coventry, Motherwell, Crystal Palace, Man Utd, back to Palace then last season ended up at Arsenal. We had a fantastic start to life in North London until February where we couldn’t buy a win. A rebuild is on the cards.
Hello and welcome back to the 30 for 30 challenge in which the aim is very simple. Get to the last page of the game. After the high of winning our first Premier League title we found life tough at the top and finished 5th last season. Let’s try and recapture the title.
August/September
Big news to start the season. I received an offer I couldn’t refuse.
Hello and welcome back. It’s taken 20 seasons but we finally won the Premier League! Our first top division title. After slugging it out in the basement of Scottish Football and the near misses it was the best title win ever. But it’s not the end of this journey. We are still aiming for that final page. So let’s crack on as Champions.
Hello and welcome to season 20. The finish line feels like it’s in sight now but what twists and turns are in the way? The first challenge is to get Man Utd back into the Premier League. We’ve cleared the decks somewhat over the summer and the rebuild starts now… Or does it? Breaking News in Manchester
August
Gary Neville as Man Utd manager writes it own headlines. He takes my seat because Crystal Palace asked for me to go back and I decided to accept.
It’s a decent start back in the palace. We win our first 3 before having a wobble. Middlesbrough are currently 2nd so are in form but the loss against Carlisle was very disappointing.
The team hasn’t changed from my year in Manchester and this was a great result away at Newcastle!
September
Only 1 win in the league which is disappointing but we do progress in the League Cup. We aren’t scoring enough and we are conceding a lot which is worrying. It might be time to break this team apart and rebuild.
October
It’s really weird at the moment. We can’t beat the teams around us but we played brilliant against 2nd placed, European chasing Everton!
Our best performance since August.
November
November is a massive for us. 15 goals scored and only 2 conceded. We progress in the League Cup as well.
This win away at City was very good. Zidane, Zanotto & Delaunay are all new signings who seem to have lifted the team.
December
Another good month. We are in 2nd place behind Arsenal, again! The loss against Leeds we had a couple of players injured and suspended but the performance was really poor!
One of my old teams are brushed aside in the FA Cup. This is a good result as Coventry are one of the top 4 fighting for the title at the moment.
January
The loss to Arsenal really puts us on the back foot again with them. We are now 9 points behind. We are in the League Cup Semi Final and the 5th round of the FA Cup so the aim is silverware this season.
February
Disaster to start the month as we crash out of the FA Cup in the 5th round and lose in the Semi Finals of the League Cup in back to back games. We do make it 3 out of 3 in the league though. We are just 1 point behind Arsenal at the top of the table.
March
2 wins and a good draw away at Everton. We are in to the business end of the season with only the league to focus on.
April
April gets off to a rocky start with a draw at Villa and a dismal loss against Swansea we then win 4 on the bounce which means we head into May with 2 games to go and a 3 point lead over Arsenal… who have a game in hand.
May
Well we win our 2 remaining games so we uphold our end of the bargain.
Did i mention how much i love Ipswich?
20 seasons. It’s taken 20 seasons for this, for us to win a top division title. This is easily the most memorable title win for me ever.
