The Keegan-Burger P11: He’s Leh Mann | @KingOfTheRooks

Merry Easter Monday! Here’s Andrew with an Easter egg for you all…

Willkommen! If you missed us last time out, you can catch up here. If you just want to read on, then its fairly obvious we are having an absolute stinker in the league.

We decide it’s time to bring an old head in to sit alongside our younger forwards. Welcome the crocodile man at an absolute snip.

And more great news:

Lovely. Even more so that we close out the Champions League groups on top.

We’ve dropped Brown back into a support role, but his morale is so low he can’t get going. This draw is not so bad:

Although how 2nd placed Barca get a terrible Rangers side is beyond me. This draw is horsemeat:

Gladbach’s keeper always gets man of the match against me. We make up for it against another Borussia…

A goal for Mr Brown is the cherry on the cake. We’re dancing in Berlin despite the red cards.

We are finally climbing.

Even Kuntz and the gang don’t upset us (I mistakenly thought they’d been relegated).

Bremen are destroyed despite us going down to 10-men.

So, what has been the secret of our revival you ask?

Nehrbauer will be out for a month so Brown’s shaky confidence will have to be put to one side and he’ll just have to crack on without a rest. If we’ve been struggling, I move the 3 and the 2 out wide. It continues to prove good as it tears a hole through Ajax.

Kuntz and the gang are back, and despite conceding a goal to a jungle animal, we make it through another game with 3 points.

And also into the semi-finals of the Pokal:

The players are rewarded for their fine form:

We’re the only top 5 team left in the Pokal. I like those odds.

Back in the Champions League, I was panicking that we’d thrown it all away.

Only for Mr Brown to add a goal that put the tie to bed. You beauty! F**************k.

So, we’ve clawed our way back up the table in the league. The chances of the title would need us to maintain our silly run against the backdrop of constant injuries and fighting on 3 fronts.

And it would also need Bayern to collapse. How is our hero getting on?

Not so good. His morale has improved, but the finishing is yet to follow. Hopefully there is a flourish before the end of the season and another trophy. 13 in 32 with 10 assists isn’t a poor return as long as the rest of the squad keep scoring too. Well, Auf Wiedersehen for now!
