Hallo, hej, hello! Welcome back to our Blog Squad spin-off where we all prove how terrible we really are at this game and one of us lucks out with a fantastic side. It’s the opening night and we’ll get through two rounds of games, the first being the Coca-Cola Cup and then the first round of league fixtures. As Mr Black would say, lets football.
Hello and an icy cold welcome to the next Blog Squad League. It’s been a fair while since we’ve done something like this, as we’ve all be off adulting. In short, the idea here was to take the 10 teams with the best reputations from the Scandinavian countries and throw them together to thrash it out in a not so modern take on the Royale League concept.
Why? It gives us a great chance to further explore a bunch of players and teams that don’t always load into saves and kind of levels the playing field a bit. So, who are the teams we are looking at? In no particular order; AIK Stockholm [SWE], AaB [DEN], SK Brann [NOR], FC Kobenhavn [DEN], IFK Goteborg [SWE], Malmo FF [SWE], OB Odense [DEN], Rosenborg BK [NOR], Stromsgodset IF [NOR], Brondby [DEN]. We’ve also applied January transfers for these teams for players ‘in’ given we are running this on the v2.93 patch and to ensure the squads have some depth where possible.
Saturday night is alright for fighting but it’s 9.30am, so here’s Andrew with the culmination of World Cup 98.

Hello, and welcome! Well, you’ll be pleased to know I’ve been messing around with the editor again and well, what have we cooked up. From the 1990 World Cup, FIFA decided it would be a great idea to name an all-star team of the tournament after previously receiving complaints in early tournaments. It started with 11 players and by 1998 would become a ‘squad’ of 16. So, I’ll get to the question: how would the FIFA All-Stars of the 1998 World Cup actually perform as a squad in the 1998 World Cup? Well, thank God we have CM9798 to help us find out!
For the final blog of the year we finish with the culmination of one of our stalwart series. It’s the last of the Wonderkids as Andrew leads Portugal to World Cup 2002.

Welcome back to the Wonderkids International where we are trying to make something of the hordes of Portuguese wonderkids that the CM9798 database is riddled with. You can catch-up with our start here. We’ve got Euro 2000 qualification on the agenda this time around, but our squad is really prone to injuries. That said our only real opponents should be the Czech Republic.
