Week 8 already! I missed this weeks live action due to an 8 year olds birthday party, Don’t worry it was my own daughters. Be a bit weird otherwise, Lets find out what happened together.

Welcome along to another week of your 7th favourite CM9798 blog of the week.
Lets kick off with Arsenal taking on Lazio, I cursed Nath a few weeks back with praising him on here. Nath i’m sorry anyway Arsenal won this 3-2 thanks to Paul Davis again. Someone stop that man.

Welcome back to your Thursday fix of CM 9798 goodness, lets not mess about this week with a pithy intro and get straight into the action.
The absent Nick takes on the absent Phil in this thrilling encounter, 1-0 to the Arsenal as the song used to go. God I bet arsenal fans wish for those days to return.

Welcome back loyal reader thanks for joning me on another adventure through the trials and tribulations of CWCM. It’s another wild week so lets get going!
First up this week is Semi final cup action, Semi final ….. week 5. Scotland is mental, Anyway Nath’s Lazio have really started to click and see of Zaks PSG team with realtie ease.

Welcome back to another week of Cup Winners Cup goodness, its week 3 already, Nath has Covid this week after apparently I spread it via zoom to him last week. Get well soon Nath.
On with the action! First up this week is Barcelona managed by Nick taking on Matt and his Chelsea charges. Frank Sinclair up against Ronaldo, what could go wrong. Ronaldo scores in the first half, of course. Franks mate Jody Morris levels it 4 mins after making his apperance from the bench. A red card for Figo followed quickly by one of the Mark Hughes putting Chelsea 2-1 up before following Phillips advice Pizzi comes off the bench to win it for Barca

The Blog Squad are in action again with another white hot week of Cup Winners Cup 9798 action. Here’s Ross with the breakdown.
Week 2 is here, I’m suffering with Covid so hopefully Parma can cheer me up this week, we will see.
We start this week with some cup action and as last week I’ll just bring you the human on human action…….
We start with Dean’s Man U ‘91 taking on Philip’s Arsenal ‘94 in the 1st round of the league challenge cup. 2-0 at ht quickly becomes 3 and it’s a comfortable victory for Dean. My Parma team takes on Rob’s Zaragoza boys. It finishes 2-2 at FT and then 2-2 at the end of extra time and I take a 4-3 victory on pens.

Happy Friday everybody. Here’s Ross with the first of hopefully many reports of what we do on Zoom on a Tuesday night. The preview can be seen here if you need catching up.
158 days, 158 days since we ended CLM9798, It’s been a fairly chill 158 days worldwide. I think we can all agree. The Blog Squad lads are back on Tuesday evening with our regularly scheduled zoom call. I can’t speak for the rest of the lads but for myself the weekly zoom calls we had last year really were a fantastic tool to help relax and honestly it was brilliant for my mental health.
Anyway, we’re going again! This time we have all randomly drawn a Cup winners Cup winning team from 1991 – 2000.
Continue readingHappy hump day! For one final time this year, here’s Ross.
Well here we are, The end. For now at least, Last week we missed out on the league title in heartbreaking fashion. I’m going to be taking a break from this save for a few months with a view to return in 2022 with The Blog Squad’s first European adventure!
But for today let’s have a look at the stats for the stars of the show after they ran through 4 divisions with ease.
Andrew Chapman – Defender Centre – The Rock. Through four divisions Andrew has been one of our most consistent performers, I mean just look at those ratings, 6 red cards in 4 seasons is enough to get him a transfer to CD Dons in the future I’m sure. 6 goals from the CB position is also nothing to sniff at.

Happy hump day. Here with an exciting culmination to the season is Ross, who is close to taking the Blog Squad to the top of the mountain. Can they?!
I’m back yet again with part 15 of the blog squad adventure. When I last left you we had closed in on the run into the season in 4th position. Let’s round up our first ever EPL season before i give you a round up of all the bloggers next week before I take a break until 2022.
I still can’t believe that Huddersfield are in the EPL, lets hope by the end of this update they aren’t anymore. We help them on their way with a 3-1 win and the now customary Andrew Red Card.

Happy hump day! Here’s Ross Verstappen with the Blog Squad
Welcome back to your Wednesday lunch break, get comfy because here we go.
As I mentioned last week Villa were the early pace setters, well not any more as we scored 4 for the 3rd game in a row. Nevlend bags another 2 only thing to spoil my day was a red card for myself, makes a change for it to be that member of the of the CB pairing to be sent off. Bad Influences probably.
